Mount Tapyas is a popular hiking spot located in Coron, Philippines. The hike to the summit involves climbing around 730 steps, which can be quite the workout, but the breathtaking scenery at the top makes it totally worth it.
If you are into short hikes at your own pace, which cost nothing but a crazy view of the town, this is your thing.
What surprised me? When I saw the giant Cross from the town at night and realised that 'Oh that's the place I went', it was gorgeous.
The hike is popular during the early evening to catch the sunset, but if you are some like me who would want to skip the crowd, I suggest 'doing it any time' and make sure to carry some water and a cover to protect your head from the humid heat.
