One of the most popular places to visit in Seoul, Gyeongbokgung Palace is known for being a spectacular palace and grounds. Most visitors here will rent a Hanbok to explore, since anyone with a Hanbok gets in for free. Although they're closed on Tuesdays, I recommend trying to time your visit around 10:00am or 2:00pm to see the daily changing of the guards! The grounds are huge and in the Summer months it can get very busy, so if you're looking for a place a little quieter, we recommend walking over Changgyeonggung and Changdeokgung Palaces about 10-15 minutes away. I also recommend walking the short distance to Cafe Onion Anguk, a traditional Hanok house turned cafe!
