🚗 The bridge separates the blue and green zones in Sofia, so be careful which one you send an SMS to, if you exploring it with car.

📖 During the Ottoman rule, this place became a gallows for the Bulgarians from the April Uprising and beyond. The Lion Bridge was originally planned to be a memorial complex for all those who died in this place and was realized in this form in 1891. Unfortunately, only the lions were realized from the whole project.
