The Ponte Vecchio ("Old Bridge") is a medieval stone segmental arch bridge crossing the Arno River in Florence. Completed in its current form in 1345, it is the oldest bridge in Florence, and the only one that was not destroyed in WWII.

Today, it is a pedestrian only landmark famous for the historic jewelry and goldsmith shoprs built directly along its structure.
