This itinerary is filled with experiences that transport you to the renaissance era of Italy. Mainly it's the capital of renaissance, Florence! You will experience its deep roots of high culture, art, and discovery, along with its beautiful and unique architectural wonders! This itinerary does promise a lot of walking, but there is plenty of downtime to rest, people watch, and simply enjoy your company in a once in a lifetime location!

From our own experience, these places were the absolute highlights of our time in Tuscany and will most likely be repeated when we return!

The bridge has historic significance as well. This was the only bridge left standing in World War II.

Masterpieces from Botticelli's Primavera, and Birth of Venus and Michelangelo's Doni Tondo, are all visible here. We did a great tour with GetYourGuide that gave us tremendous backstory into each of the masterpieces located at Uffizi.

With its warm and welcoming atmosphere, Il Latini has been a go-to spot for generations of diners looking for a taste of authentic Italian fare.

The restaurant only takes reservations by email and for one of two time slots, 7:30 or 9:00. You literally all line up outside and they open the doors and verify your reservation and seat you immediately. We recommend the family meal, as it was an endless meal train of delicious tuscan delights, topped with a Florentine Steak!

Take some time and lookup some fun poses to take pictures with. It adds such an element of joy to do this!

Tickets to the top are relatively cheap, but the climb is a little bit grueling.
