Garrapata State Park Vista Point offers stunning views of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, with a 50-foot climb to reach the lookout. The park features diverse coastal vegetation, trails leading to redwood groves, and outstanding coastal headlands at Soberanes Point. Visitors can spot sea lions, harbor seals, and sea otters in the coastal waters, while California gray whales pass by during their migration. Plus, there's limited access for dogs on leash at the beach area, making it a great spot for a scenic stroll with your furry friend.
