Pigeon Point Light Station State Historic Park, located on the central California coast, is home to the iconic 115-foot Pigeon Point Lighthouse, guiding mariners since 1872. The park offers stunning views of marine life, including seals and whales, and a diverse intertidal zone with abundant plant and animal species. While the lighthouse is currently closed for restoration, visitors can still explore the grounds and enjoy guided history walks, exhibits, and a small public beach nearby. Plus, if you're feeling adventurous, you can even stay overnight at the Pigeon Point Hostel run by Hostelling International.
