Asilomar State Beach, located in Pacific Grove, California, offers a mix of sandy shores and rocky coves along the Monterey Peninsula. This 107-acre state park includes the historic Asilomar Conference Grounds, where you can soak up some beach vibes while checking out the Arts & Crafts architecture by Julia Morgan. With wheelchair-accessible trails through dunes and a marine reserve offshore, it's a chill spot for nature lovers and surfers to catch some waves and enjoy the coastal scenery. Just watch out for those cold waters – they're perfect for a refreshing dip but can be a bit of a shocker!
