One of my favorite hikes in Chilliwack

Goat Ridge is an exciting hiking trail located near Chilliwack Lake Provincial Park. This 8km out-and-back route is a steep climb that will take you through beautiful forests to two scenic lookouts at the top of the ridge. Along the way, there are five technical sections with rope installations that help with traversing some large rock formations. Once you reach the lookouts, stunning views await of the surrounding lakes and mountains such as Mount Webb and Mount Meroniuk. On top of the ridge, you will have even more amazing views in every direction. While Goat Ridge is a tough hike, it is well worth the effort for its incredible scenic potential!
