Patricia Lake, located in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada, is a picturesque spot named after Princess Patricia of Connaught. It's not just any ordinary lake - during World War II, it played a role in Project Habbakuk, a wild plan to build an unsinkable aircraft carrier out of ice and sawdust called "Pykrete." Although the full-sized ship never came to be, a 1:10 scale model was constructed on the frozen lake. Today, divers can explore the remains of this quirky wartime experiment, making it a unique destination for history buffs and adventure seekers alike.
