Cypress Lookout, also known as Barrett's View or High View Lookout, is a super popular spot just 20 minutes from downtown Vancouver. People love it for its killer views over the city and beyond - you can see all the way to Vancouver Island and even down into Washington state. It's especially rad at sunset when the city lights start twinkling. The lookout got its official name from former BC Premier Dave Barrett, who saved Cypress Provincial Park from development back in the day. So yeah, it's pretty special up there!
