U-turn rules in British Columbia

In British Columbia, making a U-turn is not as easy as it seems. The law restricts U-turns at intersections with traffic lights, on lined roadways, in limited visibility areas, and in business districts unless permitted by a sign. Municipalities can also have their own rules about U-turns, adding to the confusion. So, if you find yourself going the wrong way, it might be safer to drive around the block or find a side road to turn on. Just remember, when it comes to U-turns in BC, it's better to be safe than sorry!
