Galle Dutch Fort, located on the southwestern coast of Sri Lanka, is a fascinating blend of history and culture. Originally built by the Portuguese in the 16th century, it was later fortified by the Dutch in the 17th century, giving it its distinctive charm. The fort's massive walls, which overlook the Indian Ocean, are perfect for leisurely strolls while soaking in stunning views.

Inside the fort is a maze of boutiques, cafes, and hotels. Most are on the more expensive side catering to the large number of tourists who visit Galle. Nice to walk around but be prepared to pay a little more for any food or drink from inside
