It's not quite as straightforward as picking what you want and paying. Instead, you need to go to the cashier desk and exchange cash for a prepaid card. You can then use this card to pay for meals at any of the stalls in the food court.

We eat at mall food courts all the time because they're such good value. They're a great way to try a range of dishes without blowing your budget, and they're particularly good places to stop for lunch so that you can relax in an air-conditioned space before heading back out into the heat.
