Floating markets tend to divide opinion. Some consider them tourist traps, while others enjoy the experience. They’re definitely geared to tourists in many ways, but the floating element adds an extra dimension you don’t really find anywhere else.

Damonen Saduak is one of Thailand’s largest floating markets, home to hundreds of vendors operating from both floating and land-based stalls. You’ll find everything from fresh produce to traditional handicrafts and authentic Thai street food.
