Linköpings cathedral is one of Europe's best-preserved medieval cathedrals. Its construction began in the early 13th century. The location has however housed a wood and stone church dating back to even earlier times. This is the pride and joy of Linköping and is a symbol of the town. In the winter time you can watch the event "Vinterljus" meaning winter lights. Its a walk through parts of the city with several light installations. And usually including the church, its quite the sight!
