How to get there?

You can park near Preda or along the Albula Pass road. Parking is limited, so arriving early, especially during peak seasons, is a good idea. The drive itself is stunning, with winding roads and breathtaking views at every turn.

🚞By Train

The easiest way to reach Lai da Palpuogna is by taking the Rhaetian Railway, which itself is a UNESCO World Heritage experience. You can board the train from Chur and head toward Preda Station, the closest stop to the lake. From Preda, the lake is just a short and scenic 15-minute walk.

For those who love an adventure, there are several hiking trails leading to Lai da Palpuogna. The most popular one starts from Preda and continues to Bergün, offering spectacular views of the lake and surrounding landscapes along the way.
