Lago di Carezza, is a stunning alpine lake nestled in the South Tyrol region of Italy. It is located in Trentino, a 34 minute drive from Bolzano, near the village of Nova Levante. Situated 1,519m above sea level, it’s a beautiful alpine lake with gleaming emerald water, surrounded by spruce trees and the towering Dolomites behind it!

⚠️The gorgeous emerald colour of the lake is actually a result of a fragile algae. This is why you cannot get closer to the lakes edge.
