A charming traditional village near Mount Fuji, Oshino Hakkai is renowned for its eight crystal-clear spring ponds, fed by snowmelt from Fuji filtered through volcanic rock. The water is so transparent that you can see fish and plant life with stunning clarity.

Surrounded by thatched-roof houses, local craft shops, and snack stalls, the village also offers postcard-perfect views of Mount Fuji, especially during cherry blossom season and the autumn foliage.

šŸ’° Entry: 300 JPY (~2€).

šŸš How to Get There:

Take a bus from Kawaguchiko Station (approx. 30 to 35 minutes ride). You can use either the Fujikko-go loop shuttle or the Zendana Gotemba shuttle — both serve Oshino Hakkai.

šŸ‘‰ Use Google Maps or Navitime to check the real-time schedules, as buses are not very frequent.
