Bakery & Table Hakone sits right on the shore of Lake Ashi and offers a three-floor experience. On the first floor you’ll find an in-house bakery making breads with carefully selected ingredients, including the signature rice-flour curry doughnut and “Hakone” square Danish inspired by yosegi marquetry. On the second floor the café allows you to eat the bakery items while enjoying lake views; the third floor hosts a coffee bar serving hand-drip specialty brews. Outside on the terrace there’s a foot-bath counter where you can relax your feet in hot-spring water while sipping coffee and eating pastries. It’s very popular so expect queues during peak times.
