A Buddhist temple located in Kita-Shinagawa, originally founded in the early 9th century and later rebuilt in the 17th century by the monk Kūkai. It houses an 18th-century bronze statue of Jizō, revered as the guardian of children and travelers. Surrounded by ancient cedar trees, the temple offers a serene spiritual atmosphere despite being close to the station and busy city streets.

Price: Free admission
Touristy?: Not very touristy. Mostly visited by local worshippers, commuters, and those interested in historical temples.
