Ichinoyu is one of the seven historic public baths of Kinosaki Onsen, easily recognizable by its classic architectural facade with a large gable. The name means “Number One Bath,” as it was once considered the most prestigious in town.

Inside, you’ll find a unique cave bath carved into the rock, creating a special and relaxing atmosphere. There are also standard indoor baths separated by gender.

💴 Admission: ¥700 (adult)
🕒 Hours: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM (closed Wednesdays)
👥 Touristy? Popular, but rarely overcrowded thanks to visitors rotating between the different baths
📍 Access: About 5 minutes on foot from Kinosaki Onsen Station, on the main street

💡 Tip: The cave bath is the highlight here. Perfect for a different experience after trying more traditional baths.
