Chidorigafuchi is a walkway along the northwestern moat of the Imperial Palace, famous for its cherry trees lining the water. It's one of the best hanami spots in Tokyo: in spring, petals fall onto the water, creating a magical scene — especially when viewed from a boat or during the evening illuminations.

Entrance fee: Free (boat rentals: approx. ¥800–¥1,600 / 30 minutes).

Touristic?
Very touristy during cherry blossom season, quiet the rest of the year.

Tip: Arrive early in the morning or just before closing time (around 8 PM during the season) to avoid the crowds.
