Shopping street located at the north exit of Kōenji Station, named after Seiko Tanabe’s novel Kōenji Junjō Shōtengai. It retains a retro neighborhood vibe with small restaurants, cafés, clothing shops, fishmongers, convenience stores, and long-standing family-run businesses. Less touristy than other streets in Kōenji, it perfectly embodies local spirit and everyday Tokyo life.

Touristy?: Not very touristy. Mostly frequented by residents and local regulars.
