Located along the central axis of Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, this eternal flame was lit in 1964 and will remain burning until all nuclear weapons are eliminated from the Earth.

It stands in the middle of a calm water basin, positioned between the A-Bomb Dome and the Cenotaph for the victims, creating a powerful and symbolic alignment.
