Super Nintendo World – Mario & Donkey Kong (Universal Studios Japan, Osaka)
Located inside Universal Studios Japan (USJ) in Osaka, Super Nintendo World is an immersive themed area featuring the world of Mario, and now also Donkey Kong Country (opened in 2024). Expect interactive mini-games, themed rides, Power-Up Bands, and elaborate visual design.
🎮 How to access the Mario & Donkey Kong areas – Step-by-step guide:
1. Buy a USJ ticket (required for entry)
– Purchase in advance via the official website or authorized resellers
– Prices start around ¥8,600 (1-day adult ticket)
2. Accessing Super Nintendo World:
This area has limited capacity, so entry is not automatic. There are two ways to get in:
✅ Virtual Entry Ticket (Timed Entry) – Free, but limited
– Once inside the park, open the official USJ app (free Wi-Fi available)
– Reserve a time slot under “Area Timed Entry Ticket”
– Show the QR code at the entrance of Super Nintendo World
