This 8-hour group walking tour showcases another side of Tokyo, combining peaceful gardens, local markets, Edo-period history, and modern entertainment districts. The day begins at Hamarikyu Gardens, a former imperial garden, before exploring the lively Tsukiji Outer Market, famous for its fresh seafood and street food.
The tour continues with visits to the Fukagawa Edo Museum and Fukagawa Fudo Temple, where you can witness the impressive Goma Fire Ritual. In the afternoon, you'll head to Shinjuku to enjoy panoramic views from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, stroll through Kabukicho, discover the tiny bars of Golden Gai, and, if you wish, continue into the LGBTQ+ district of Shinjuku Ni-chome.
