Sushi Matcha Asakusa offers an interactive introduction to Japanese food culture through a hands-on sushi-making workshop. Participants learn how to prepare authentic Edomae-style nigiri and maki sushi with guidance from experienced instructors, before enjoying the sushi they have made themselves.

The experience begins with a traditional Kagami-biraki sake ceremony, where guests take part in the symbolic opening of a sake barrel and enjoy unlimited sake throughout the class. Non-alcoholic options such as green tea and water are also available.

After learning sushi-making techniques, participants finish the experience by preparing and tasting their own bowl of matcha. The workshop is designed for all skill levels and is particularly popular with families, couples, and first-time visitors to Japan.
