The Tokoname Pottery Footpath (常滑やきもの散歩道) is a marked walking trail through the narrow streets of Tokoname, a historic pottery town just 40 minutes from Nagoya.

Along the trail, you can discover:

🔥 Traditional kiln chimneys, ceramic-covered walls, and cobbled alleyways
🏺 Active pottery workshops and artisan shops
🐾 Quirky art installations, like walls of cat heads or old pottery embedded in the streets
🌿 The peaceful, authentic atmosphere of a traditional Japanese craft neighborhood

📍 Access: Starts right outside Tokoname Station (Meitetsu Line)
🗺️ Route A: ~1.6 km / Route B: ~4 km
⏱️ Duration: 1 to 2 hours at a relaxed pace
💴 Admission: Free
