Kamidonya Shiryokan is the former residence of a wholesaler who managed goods and logistics in Narai-juku during the Edo period. The house is preserved to show how merchants and officials lived along the Nakasendo route. Inside you can see traditional rooms, historical objects, and a small garden behind the building. It gives a clear idea of the role Narai once played as an important post town.
