Located in Arakurayama Sengen Park in Fujiyoshida, this striking five-story red pagoda sits above the city and offers one of the most famous panoramic views in all of Japan: Mount Fuji framed by cherry blossoms and the pagoda itself.

Built in 1963 as a peace memorial, it’s now a world-famous photo spot, especially during spring (sakura) and autumn (momiji).

🥾 Access: Requires a climb of 398 steps from the base of the park.
💰 Entry: Free
📸 Touristy? Very. Expect large crowds during peak seasons.
