Located in the heart of Hiroshima, this large park was created to honor the victims of the atomic bombing on August 6, 1945. It brings together several major memorials and symbolic sites: the Genbaku Dome, the Peace Memorial Museum, the Flame of Peace, the Cenotaph, and the Children’s Peace Monument.

The park is spacious, green, and solemn — but also carries a powerful message of hope and lasting peace.

💴 Admission: Free (park), ¥200 for the museum
👥 Touristy? Yes, a must-visit — but quiet and respectful
📍 Access: 5-minute walk from Genbaku Dome-mae or Hondōri tram stations

💡 Take your time to walk through it. It’s a deeply symbolic place, but also a peaceful space for reflection. In March–April, the cherry blossoms 🌸 add a moving touch to the landscape.
