Located beneath the train tracks next to JR Osaka Station, this maze-like alleyway is home to around 100 small restaurants and bars spread across two floors. You'll find a wide range of Japanese dishes here—okonomiyaki, ramen, yakitori, oden, curry, izakaya fare, and more. The retro atmosphere recalls the Showa era, with tightly packed signs, low ceilings, and a lively, down-to-earth vibe.

Entrance fee: Free. Dishes range from ¥500 to ¥2,000 depending on the establishment
Touristy? Moderately touristy. Very popular with locals in the evening, especially salarymen, but also enjoyed by curious travelers looking for authenticity.
