Pedestrian bridge located in Nakajuku, Itabashi-ku, Tokyo, crossing the Shakujii River. The name "Itabashi" originates from the original wooden plank bridge built as early as the Kamakura period (794–1185). The current concrete bridge was reconstructed in 1972. Lined with cherry trees, it offers a beautiful springtime view and marks the site of a former Nakasendō post station connecting Edo to Urawa.
