Ganiba Onsen is a ryokan located in the Nyuto Onsen area, known for its large mixed outdoor bath (rotenburo) set in nature and accessible by a short walk from the main buildings. The bath is isolated and surrounded by forest, creating a quieter atmosphere than some of the other onsens in the region.

The ryokan also offers indoor baths separated for men and women. Day-use access is available, with weekly closure on Wednesdays.

As with many mixed baths in Japan, discretion is expected, and some areas may allow the use of towels.
