Located between Honshu and Shikoku, Awaji is a large island famous for its coastal scenery, local specialties (especially sweet Awaji onions and Awaji beef), and a variety of natural and cultural attractions. It’s also one of the main gateways to Shikoku via the Ōnaruto Bridge.
You’ll find panoramic views over the Seto Inland Sea, flower parks, hot springs (onsen), and unique sites like Awaji Yumebutai and the Naruto whirlpools.
