Mandarayu is one of the seven iconic public baths of Kinosaki Onsen. It’s the smallest of the seven, but it stands out for its outdoor bath (rotenburo) surrounded by a little garden, perfect for relaxing in the open air.

The spring water here is said to soothe joint pain and promote fertility. Inside, you’ll find a simple layout with two baths, separated by gender.

💴 Admission: ¥700 (adult)
🕒 Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (closed Wednesdays)
👥 Touristy? Quiet — often less crowded than the other baths
📍 Access: About 10 minutes on foot from Kinosaki Onsen Station, in a quieter street of town

💡 Tip: The outdoor bath is especially nice in winter, when it’s snowing. Perfect for a peaceful moment of relaxation.
