Hida no Oku Brewery is a small, traditional sake brewery located in Hida-Furukawa. It’s known for producing local sake using mountain water and regional rice. The building itself is modest and blends into the town, but stopping here gives a good sense of Furukawa’s sake culture. Depending on the day, you can buy bottles directly and sometimes taste a few varieties. It feels very local and low-key, not like a big commercial brewery.
