🐒 Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park
This park is famous for its wild Japanese macaques who soak in natural hot springs — a unique sight, especially in winter when the steam rises around them.
Best time to visit: Early morning (~8:15 AM) to avoid crowds (it gets busy around 10:45 AM).
Winter tip: Trails can be slippery — wear warm clothes and non-slip shoes (rentals available on site).
