Stone-paved path lined with bamboo in the historic district of Shuzenji Onsen, running alongside the Katsura River. Known as Chikurin no Komichi, this small trail offers a peaceful and photogenic atmosphere, with circular wooden benches where visitors can sit and listen to the sound of flowing water. Less crowded than Kyoto’s Arashiyama bamboo grove, it has a more intimate charm—especially in the early morning or evening.

Touristy? : Fairly touristy, but without heavy crowds. Popular for quiet strolls and photography.
