🏯 4:00 PM – Kenroku-en Garden & Kanazawa Castle (if open) 🌿 Kenroku-en Garden – A National Treasure Not only one of Kanazawa’s top attractions, Kenroku-en is also considered one of the "Three Great Gardens of Japan". Its name derives from an ancient Chinese phrase describing the six elements of the perfect landscape garden, all of which are present here: spaciousness, seclusion, artifice, antiquity, water features, and panoramic views. Originally a private garden of the Maeda clan, rulers of the Kaga Domain, Kenroku-en was opened to the public in 1874. Stroll around the tranquil Kasumigaike Pond, admire the elegant Uchihashi-tei Teahouse perched over the water, and see the impressive Karasaki pine trees, grown from seed over 150 years ago. 🕗 Hours : 7:00–18:00 💴 Admission: ¥320
