Nichiren sect Buddhist temple founded in 1629, famous for the intricate wooden carvings decorating its main hall. Located at the end of the Taishakuten-sandō shopping street, it is a cultural centerpiece of the Shibamata area. A Japanese garden is also accessible with admission.
