Specialized museum dedicated to the art of the Japanese sword, operated by the Society for the Preservation of Japanese Art Swords (NBTHK). Opened in January 2018 in a modern building adjacent to the Former Yasuda Garden. Displays around 190 items (katana, armor, sword fittings), including national treasures and Important Cultural Properties. Features a café, museum shop, reading room, and rooftop terrace garden on the third floor.

Price: ¥1,000 (adult) • ¥500 (high school/university/vocational students) • free for junior high and younger
Touristy?: Moderately touristy, visited by sword enthusiasts, Japanese history buffs, and Ryōgoku-area tourists
