Arashio-beya is a sumo stable known for allowing visitors to watch early morning training sessions through a large street-facing window — no reservation needed. Occasionally, indoor viewing is offered by reservation. The stable is home to rikishi (sumo wrestlers) of various ranks and offers a rare, authentic glimpse into the daily routine of sumo life.

🕒 Training hours: 7:30 AM – 10:00 AM
📅 Not available during March, July, November, and the week after tournaments.
💰 Price: Free (outside observation only)
🎯 Touristy?: Moderately touristy — great for those interested in Japanese culture, but still under the radar for most international tourists.

📍Other stables to check out:
Musashigawa-beya (Uguisudani)
Kasugano-beya (near Ryogoku Station)
Takasago-beya
