Mausoleum of Tokugawa Iemitsu, the grandson of Tokugawa Ieyasu. Though less famous than the nearby Tōshōgū, Taiyūin features exquisite architecture with gold leaf, lacquer work, and intricate carvings. Surrounded by forest, it's especially beautiful during autumn with colorful momiji. The site blends grandeur and serenity, offering a more tranquil experience than the main shrine complex.
