A small udon snack shop located about 5 minutes on foot from Kintetsu Nara Station, along the shopping street near Nara Park. Famous for its Kinchaku Kitsune Udon—a large fried tofu pouch filled with udon noodles. When opened, the pouch reveals soft noodles soaking in a clear, flavorful broth. The shop also offers creative variations like curry udon, mushroom, or tempura versions.

Price :
– Kinchaku kitsune udon: ~¥1,100
– Curry kinchaku udon: ~¥1,100
– Combo sets (udon + tempura or tendon): ~¥1,200–¥1,600
Average budget: ¥1,000–¥2,000

Touristy? Very busy, with a line forming as soon as it opens. Popular among both locals and tourists. Friendly vibe, small space (~23 seats). No reservations—add your name to the paper waitlist at the door.
