Also known as the PL Peace Tower, this 180-meter-tall white structure stands in Tondabayashi, in the southeast of Osaka.
Inaugurated in 1970 by the religious organization PL (Perfect Liberty Kyōdan), it commemorates all war victims, regardless of nationality or belief.
Visible from kilometers away, it creates a striking contrast with the traditional houses of Jinaimachi.

Entrance fee: Access to the surroundings is free, but the inside of the tower is not open to the public.
Touristy? Very little. Often seen from a distance or photographed out of curiosity. Locally recognized as a symbolic landmark of Tondabayashi.
