If we had to choose the most beautiful nature in Taiwan, it has to be Taroko! Stunning views all around, when we first got here we were amazed by the rocky formations and tall mountains surrounding us.
It's doable just by public transport, we did it from Taipei! Take the train from your nearest station to Hualien and there is a bus specifically to bring you to the park itself. Do take note of the bus time as it passes every hour, so make good use of it!

We recommend you stay for a night in Hualien to explore Taroko but you can also do a day trip, going in the morning and back at night! Whatever works with you :)

It's a very safe hiking trail as there are barriers almost everywhere but always be careful and safety first!
