La Iguana Perdida is a cozy and laid-back hostel located right on Lake Atitlan in Santa Cruz. The hostel hosts nightly family dinners with incredible homemade food. It has a very traditional vibe with an adobe aesthetic. I would say this is a social hostel but NOT a party hostel. If you are looking for a relaxing family feel, this is a lovely spot with hammocks and chill out areas. But if you are looking for more upbeat energy, maybe stay elsewhere.
