Into the Wild Elephant Sanctuary in Chiang Mai is an ethical elephant encounter experience. You can choose from a half or full day tour which includes feeding, bathing, walking, and playing with these gentle giants.

The sanctuary provides information about the elephants history and care ethics. The camp provides a natural environment for the elephants to thrive in which is why this sanctuary is my top pick.

A lot of elephants camps claim to be ethical and turn out not to be, so please do your research if you decide to choose a different one.

Tam Tip: Bring clothes and shoes you don't mind getting muddy or dirty. And if you swimming with the elephants, bring a bathing suit!
